Builder Capital has established a dependable lot banking program based on a history of innovative capital solutions and predictable performance. Working with dozens of homebuilders we have found that a lot banking program helps a homebuilder with the maintenance of internal cash reserves and is not disruptive to operations, especially if implemented across multiple projects over time.

Subject to project location and size, we have these general deal parameters:

  • Non-Recourse to homebuilder or principals of homebuilder
  • Homebuilder Option Deposit: 10 – 15% of total project cost
  • Builder Capital Investment: 85 – 90% of total project cost
  • Lot Takedown Timeline: Less than 4 years
  • Deal Size: At least $5 million total cost
